Day 2:  Diagnostic Exam

Part I: Expanding Our Vocabulary (3:30-3:40) 10 min
Introduce Coxhead Academic Word List and Assign students to the Vocabulary Share Activity. Please click on the link titled VOCABULARY SHARE at the top of the homepage and follow along as I explain the directions.

Part II: Setting Up Dropbox (3:40-3:50) 10 min
we will be using dropbox to upload homework and share files. Please click on the SETTING UP YOUR DROPBOX if you need assistance in sharing a file with me. 

Part III: Administering the Diagnostic (3:50-4:40)  50 min

Students will be asked to write for 50 minutes on a topic selected by the Service Courses.  The diagnostic is also NOT a placement test. The primary purpose of the diagnostic is for teachers to get a general idea of the students' strengths and weaknesses so that they can shape the curriculum based on students' needs.

Part IV: Submit Diagnostic
