Lesson Objectives:

• Introduce and analyze components of results-driven and descriptive abstract
• Work to apply concepts to creating abstracts for their own papers

Part I: Presentations  (5 min)

Part II. Review Activity of Semester Content (20 min)
We will play a fun TABOO Card Game with Review Terms.


Part III: Lecture on Abstracts  (15 min)
Abstracts are an important part to research writing. Arguably, they are more important to the reader than for the writer as they are used a means to determine in a source is relevant to our needs. Please click on the links below to access the lecture PPT and corresponding handout.
